Laura Fernàndez-López, PhD, is an epidemiologist at the Centre for Epidemiological Studies on Sexually Transmitted Infections, HIV and AIDS of Catalonia (CEEISCAT), Spain. She coordinates HIV testing monitoring in Catalonia and has extensive experience in European-funded projects, including HIV-COBATEST and EURO HIV-EDAT. She serves as coordinator of the COBATEST Network, a European network of community-based testing services, and her work focuses on the monitoring, evaluation and promotion of community-based HIV and STI testing initiatives.
